I just wanted to let everyone that checks this know that I will be gone for the next week. I have to head out to Camp Parks CA for a week to do an EMT refresher class. I doubt that I will have internet access while I'm gone. Please check back here though next week and I'll have updated our info. Lots of new things to talk about, but no time to post them right now. Also please if your checking the site, leave some comments so I know that you've been here. We can get a good conversation going if you do! Just click on the comments at the bottom of an entry and it will give you whatever comments have already been made, plus a spot to type yours. When you go to post it may ask you to create a sign on. This is free and you DO NOT have to actaually create a blog. When I first started I skipped this step. It is done mostly so that your name can be attached to your comment so I know who left it. I dont mind goin to Parks.
I always hit the Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Barnes and Noble and Macaroni Grill in that big shopping center right off post.
Would be great to hit all of that if I had been given a rental car to get around, but no! I had to rely on my good ole feet to get me around. Besides I was there for good Army training, not shopping!
I go there for the shopping.
There is nothing left to train me on.
I always get the Army to pay for a big rental car for me so I screw some deploying troop out of money for ammo to train up with.
I use the ammo buget up with my fancy XM radio in my fancy rental car in my fancy hotel suite in fancy Las Vegas!
