So onto my story. Here at our house we recycle. We are lucky because there are no rules attached to it, just toss everything in the given bins and then put out on the curb every other week. We are pretty good about putting everything in the bins that should go there and can usually fill our 2 bins in the 2 weeks between trips. So what goes in there? Newspapers, boxes, cans, bottles...the standard aray of garbage. Well we try to keep our bins up and out of the way, but this isn't always do-able. A few weekends ago Scott had a friend of his over to hang out. We had ordered some pizza for everyone. Tim and I were in the living room that opens up into the kitchen where Scott and his friend were. All of a sudden the kids were laughing and Scott was asking something about us buying the dogs some treats that day when we were shopping. Tim and I, trying to figure out what they were talking about, got up to see Lincoln our beagle sitting on the back porch waiting to be let in, with a box of Meaty Bone treats on his head. Apparently he got into the recycling bin, found the box, and trying to get a treat, he was stuck! What a great laugh we had at his expense! We let him in, and to make the moment even better then it already was, we tossed pieces of food onto the floor for him to try to get to!

Aint nothing but a hound dog!
So everyone knows (or should realize) that we have 2 dogs. 1 Beagle that we got from the pound about 5 and a half years ago when he was around the age of 4ish. Our other is a mini doxi that we have had for about 2 and a half years now. I have to say that there are times that they frustrate me to no end, but there are others that they add such an amazing demtion to our lives that I feel blessed that they are part of our lives!
